| "Classic ES-335" 3D computer art Limited Edition Print |
| This was one of Dan'l's first attempts at 3D computer graphics modeling & rendering. It is not a photograph, but a painting done in a computer using the same technology that Pixar uses in their animated films. Although using today's programs modeling this instrument would be a simple task for any trained 3D artist, in the late mid nineties the programs were far from sophisticated and this was a special challenge with it's carved top and smooth curves. Over 35 prints out of the limited edition of 250 have been sold (in over 7 nations around the world). Once the edition is sold out, the digital files will be deleted permanently and no futher prints will be made. Each is printed, signed and numbered sequentially by the artist and comes mounted on dark grey or black archival museum mount matte board. Each comes with a signed and numbered matching Certificate of Authenticity. Makes a great gift. |
